Leading the Way!

We are a multi-experience and multi-discipline equine club that is open to all students. Members have the opportunity to learn more about horses and the equine industry through our educational meetings, speakers, demonstrations and tours. Some members start with an interest in horses but have little to no experience. Others have a wealth of experience in the horse industry and want to expand their skill set to work in the field. If this sounds like you and want to expand your knowledge while capitalizing on resume building opportunities, don’t hesitate to send an e-mail for more information and join us at our next meeting.

This club brings students together to network with other students and industry professionals at WVU and around the country. Educational events like horse expos, shows, tours, guest speakers and social activities are just some of the opportunities WVU Collegiate Horsemen’s members have access to! Previous experiences include rodeos, traveling to the Kentucky Three-Day Event, group kayaking, and special demonstrations such as magnawave therapy!

Members also have the opportunity to attend the ACHA’s national convention every year. At this convention members get to tour and experience unique equine opportunities with like-minded students from colleges across the country. There is also ample time to relax, shop, or go sight-seeing!

Whether you are a seasoned equestrian or horse enthusiast, this club has something for you. Any and all disciplines are welcome!
