Jessica Jasinski is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal & Nutritional Sciences with a minor in equine studies.

Jessica Jasinski is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal & Nutritional Sciences with a minor in equine studies. She was born and raised in Glen Dale, West Virginia. Growing up she dreamed of riding and working with horses; coming to West Virginia University has provided her the opportunity to join the equine world. She rode on the western team for two years and has had many opportunities with classwork and CHA to learn and experience firsthand what she always wanted to as a child. Most recently she worked as a stable hand at McCormick stables in Wheeling. She is also a member of Sigma Alpha agricultural sorority where she has held several leadership roles. Her hobbies include spending time with her pets and singing. She plans to further her education to achieve her goal of becoming an equine studies professor so that she can provide opportunities and education to future generations.
