Rachel Widmaier is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences at West Virginia University.

Rachel Widmaier is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Nutritional Sciences at West Virginia University. Rachel grew up in Cambridge, MD and was very active in 4-H at the local, state, and national level. She has been riding and showing horses since she was 5 years old in many disciplines including barrel racing, eventing, and more recently ranch riding and reined cow horse events. Rachel works at a vet clinic when she is not in school and has found a passion for equine performance and sports medicine. After graduation, she plans on attending veterinary school and eventually owning her own practice.
